When I saw the Daybreaker2 in person at the store, I immediately decided to purchase it because of its perfect appearance, capacity, and light weight.
I've been using it for a month commuting and have zero complaints.
I currently use it for everyday use, going to the gym and shopping. I can fit a 15.6" computer in it with no problem, and the color is black and the logo is inconspicuous, so I can use it for work as well. It is a backpack that embodies the aesthetics of subtraction.
The xpac is resilient, so it stands on its own even when empty, and its shape does not change without collapsing. It is also relatively lightweight, so it does not tire easily.
When traveling
I used it for a 2 night trip (climbing included). The capacity was just right and the shape remained beautiful. The shoulder straps are also firm, so my shoulders did not get sore. When climbing, I did not need a rain cover because of the waterproof nature of the xpac (it is not completely waterproof), so I was able to reduce the amount of luggage. Also, the xpac fabric is unusually thick on the back, so sweat and rain did not seep into the bag from the back.
